I even continued my training plan in Barcelona on a @wikimediafoundation.org strategy retreat! If you can spare a couple of quid *gracias* (muttered by a very English person embarrassed by their terrible language skills and horribly aware they don't know thank you in Catalan)
In Barcelona, my hotel has a copy of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the bedside. Is this a Catalan thing? I feel like if a few more places in the UK did this, we wouldn't be in such a pickle.

If you're not a wheelchair user, or used to being around people who use them, it's so easy to not notice what might be a hazard or what might be confusing, but these could be simple additions! We did love the map of other sites with @changingplacesuk.bsky.social toilets & the invite for feedback
Please take a look at this curb to the Walled Garden - the welcome assistant said was accessible, but the left hand side was too much for the wheelchair & mum almost tipped out! Some kind of little ramp would be so helpful! @nationaltrust.org.uk
... but we have two big pieces of feedback! Please put signs out showing the accessible route up to the parterre - we got confused several times (pictured), which drained the wheelchair battery and our energy! @nationaltrust.org.uk
Had a fab time exploring the gardens of Blickling Hall with my wheelchair user Mum! We really enjoyed the efforts that had gone in to make a challenging site more accessible ... @nationaltrust.org.uk

It's #TransDayOfVisibility & a bunch of @wikipedia.org editors (inc. me) filled the #dyk section on English Wikipedia with our trans siblings I added articles about Nadia Echazu - one of Argentina's earliest trans rights activists & Sharifa Yazmeen, an Egyptian-American trans playwright.
Zero to editor in 45 minutes? What a group! One example of text a student added was embedding some recent archaeology into the scarlet macaw article. Archaeology by stealth!
Yesterday I submitted my PhD corrections 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 & today I delivered my library books back! Massive thanks to all the folks @uoylibrary.bsky.social especially sorting out some incredible inter library loans!!!! Some books have been very inspirational (if sometimes irritating) friends. Bon voyage 💜💜💜

There's also a whole movement to get bins in mens toilets, as increasing numbers of cisgender men are saying they require them for incontinence pads - the language is interesting - these are clearly sanitary bins but them have a description that could also be from a lynx deodorant: DESIGNED FOR MEN
