I really dislike how benben's whole thing was being graceful due to her design being evocative of a celestial maiden, and in FDS yuu just made her clothes super tight

haste is very fun! all the strengths of slaughter mapping with extremely well designed, smaller arenas and short levels way too difficult for me to single segment on UV (this is map 2 lol), but I'm still having a lot of fun just practicing each arena, routing them out, and improving consistency
hirasaka can actually draw a very good kaguya you'd expect them to just draw a tall star sapphire but they did a pretty good contrasting the two

eurobeat stamina charts are my favorite because they have a really strong beat and they're hyping you up the entire time desperately trying to keep your focus as your entire body wants to collapse, while the final chorus is blazing in the bg is an experience you can't get outside of dance games

someone made an ITG pack for a bunch of touhou eurobeat songs, but unfortunately the chart quality is actually insanely dogshit LOL T_T I would've believed that it's made entirely for keyboard but the pack name states it's a "pad" pack so it seems that the charts are just horrible

update: did it honestly this is toby's best fight. hitboxes are great, movement speed is fine, the attacks are difficult yet very fair, and the presentation is amazing. individual attacks are very punishing and can TPK fast if you're sloppy, but damage is survivable even without the shadow mantle
touhou new world (an extremely repetitive game that also overstayed its welcome - far worse than hero of ice fairy) I played it and beat all post game content, hated it, and wrote a negative review that still remains the top rated english review for the game lol
the worst thing is that I was promised daichiru at the beginning and I only got it at in a FUCKING "FAKE" ENDING SHE DOESN'T EVEN HAVE ANY DIALOGUE GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE I GOT WHAT I CAME FOR WHY DO I STILL HAD TO PLAY LIKE ONE MORE HOUR TO BEAT THE GAME
presentation wise I think the actual graphics are nice, and there are a couple character designs I like. I do really dislike the game's insistence on fanservice on the defeat portraits though
played through all of hero of ice fairy yesterday (including challenge stages) despite having overwhelmingly positive reviews on steam...I don't actually like this game. I think it's actually quite a *polished* game, but it's polishing traits and an image to be something I just dislike playing

just found out that border break abuse on ressurection butterfly makes it a lot more consistent. breaking border on red wave + collecting cherry items (w/ ~20+ spells capped) from after the next red wave gives a border, so you can get 4 borders during the spell
prisimrivers LNN 3BB back on the PCB LNB grind. lunasa non2 is absolutely necessary to have a strict border route for, but farming cherry on non1 is actually pretty fun and consistent. I'm also still having trouble on the final when it speeds up, but I don't think it'll be difficult with practice
