A Sun had been in my watchlist for so long, wish I’d seen it sooner. A very entertaining but heartbreaking family drama. So good. #LastFourWatched
Coffee and some books I purchased but will probably (definitely) not get round to reading.
Try and live a clean healthy lifestyle by ditching Teflon pans. Fuck up the brand new stainless steel pan on first use. 👍
My current routine. Some I use daily, some not. Some as a morning routine, some evening. All with as many natural ingredients as possible and little toxins.
Kicking myself for not picking up a near-mint copy of What it is to Burn the other day for £60, because I really want it on vinyl but:
Another evening cycle. Lovely calm atmosphere. Made it to this spot from my house in under 17 minutes, which is at least 5 mins quicker than if I’d driven.
I’d love to see a modern, big-budget film about their national hero, Skanderbeg. A legendary (but barely unknown in Western European education) military strategist who united Albania and held back the Ottoman Empire for over two decades against incredible odds. Worth reading about.
This is a cool bit of detail about Ludwig Göransson’s soundtrack for The Odyssey. Albania’s rich history and culture isn’t often in mainstream awareness, not is it well documented in English, so this is nice to see.
It's always a strange feeling when someone you never knew personally passes away, yet they were such a big part of your childhood memories. Rest in peace, Sam Neill.
I own some great Hot Toys, but this may be the best 1/6th scale figure I own. Insane attention to detail & volume of accessories. #Mondo have done an amazing job with this. I love their version which takes inspiration from lots of different variations of Turtles media from the past & present. 🐢
I’m going to play Cyberpunk (wiped my previous game save to start again), but first… Saros.
I know everyone hates PlayStation right now but I only had to fork out £312 for the console so seems like a worthy upgrade from my OG PS5
Top news story for all of us patiently waiting to be updated on this crucial development.
My vets no longer open at the weekends. BUT they do operate under a different name on a Saturday and Sunday, and instead of charging the normal £50 for a visit, it’s £313.50 🥰 (to be told to “see how he is over the next few days” 🤡)
Some of the best 20 minutes you’ll listen to, if you like heavy stuff (even if you don’t know any Japanese).
Father’s Day spent watching my Dad play with his trains. The older I get, the more I appreciate his nerdy little hobby.
#LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched Not related to these, but I fancy trying to catch Obsession this weekend.
#LastFourWatched My first Cristian Mungiu was brilliant, if not utterly depressing.
