GHM/SH/VH don't have a value set for this at all, i'm assuming they thought it felt worse with it "moved" so they removed it but in GH5, they fixed the vocal lag once and for all, moving the hit window in the right direction, and even compensating for different types of mics
there is naturally always going to be a delay with mic input, and neversoft knew this, so in GHWT they attempt to move the vocals hit window 32ms late to compensate for that delay what they didn't realize is they accidentally moved it the WRONG WAY! so the issue is twice as bad!
the vocals engine in GHWT is notorious for being terrible, a big issue it has is that you have to sing super early and sound like a gremlin. i fixed it. you can sing on time now. here's a casual voxtar clip on expert. it's playable now. explanation, lore, and the fix below 🧵
some wii adventures GH Smash Hits is technically supported by Wiimmfi, but it’s the only guitar hero game that kicks you out if it can’t also connect to the “community server”, which is long gone, a one-line Q script fix now has it playable on Wiimmfi!
