> The Avengers (2012) > Rank: A+ Motherfucker, how'd we go from absolute mid in the last three films to ABSOLUTE PEAK all of a sudden. While the novelty of having characters from four separate mostly unrelated films come together and interact was enough to make this premise interesting, the actual
> Captain America: The First Avenger > Rank: C+ I actually think this one starts out very good. Steve Rodgers is a great character, I think his characterization as a guy wanting to do the right thing (as basic as it sounds) is handled very well and it drives the plot forward well. The setting,
> Thor > Rank: C Let it be known it took me almost 2 years to sit down and finish this film, and let say everything that needs to be said regarding its "C" score
> Batman Begins > Rank: B- I've been meaning to give the Nolan Batman trilogy a proper look for some time (Because I know sure as hell I watched these films when I was a little kid but none of it stuck with me). This was essentially my introduction to Batman as a character as well as Nolan as a
> Yellowface > Rank: A- My introduction to the writing of R.F. Kuang, and it instantly made me a fan. Matter of fact I finished it within about a day, a testament to how invested I was. Ofc, the protagonist steals the show. They're very much a villain protagonist type, but they feel very
> Toy Story > Rank: B+ I feel it goes without saying, but it holds up incredibly well. Pacing is a lot quicker than I remember but it's definitely not rushed or anything. Characters & their storys still come together well. Animation is dated, but it makes the film all the more charming imo.
I've been keeping up with this series for 7 years and the main antagonist literally being named MARY SUE is still the funniest shit I've seen from this medium 😂
Put on some random mecha anime from the early 2000s, was surprised to find it's actually quite breathtaking visually when it wants to be. And this isn't to mention its usage of classic motifs. Might end up watching more of this
> Backrooms (Film) > Rank: B+ Very high expectations going in because the web series is absolutely phenomenal. The film, I think, lives up to the hype and only falls a little short because certain character dynamics don't get as much time dedicated to them as they maybe should've no thanks to the-,
Conjured up art of an OC and decided to share because I haven't posted art here in a while. She "appears" to be important to the a story I'm writing in the background
> Resident Evil 3 (PS1) > A- I was worried I'd find it too similar to the previous entry, or worse, a large step down, but I'd say RE3 is on the level if not almost equal with the previous entry. It's a lot more action heavy, with a lot of crazy set pieces, but also better atmosphere,
> Resident Evil 2 (PS1) > Rank: A+ It's hard to explain but based on my experiences with the first 2 RE games I find myself in a sort of flow state after gradually to grips with the controls and map. Once I do it's hard for me to put these games down. Every new room and location is nerve wracking
> D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L > Rank: A+ You know for an album called Deathmetal it's quite chill. I've been listening to this album obsessively for the last 6 months, and it's absolutely incredible how nice it sounds despite being produced by a bunch of teen amateur musicians in the early 00s. I'm so-,
> Igor > Rank: A The more I listen to Tyler the more absolutely enthralled I become of his lyricism and (especially) his production. It's so buttery smooth and effortless, I can listen to his work and never get tired. Probably my new favorite of his work so far.
I kinda fw the old SAO art style. The smaller, more chibi bodies and overexaggerated eyes have a lot of charm to them. Though they're very much a product of their era (a shame because they still hold up imo)
> Umamusume: Cinderella Gray > Rank: B- Was already a fan of the series no thanks to my friends and "Beginning of a New Era", but this was the first time I sat down and watched one of the many Uma TV Anime, and safe to say I'm a fan now
