Desert side quest 🌵

Astronomy/meteorology people, silly question...do you know what I saw in this pic, the swirl in the center? Taken in southern Rhode Island, looking to the west/northwest. Timestamp 6:02 pm EST (UTC-5). I thought maybe a launch but the only launch I could find was 6:02 pm UTC-3, from French Guiana.
