Not every photograph needs a dramatic moment. Sometimes quiet light, honest textures, and a little patience are enough to tell a story worth remembering.
The photographs I value most aren't the ones that demand attention. They're the ones that quietly earn it, one second at a time.
I’m drawn to moments that aren’t finished yet. A bud before it blooms, a glance before a smile, a street before it fills with people. Photography often lives in the in-between.
Not every beautiful thing arrives fully formed. Sometimes the most interesting moment is just before it unfolds.
The photographs that stay with me are the ones that leave a question unanswered. Sometimes mystery is more powerful than explanation.

Mich interessieren Bilder, die sich nicht auf den ersten Blick erschließen. Erst wenn man ein zweites Mal hinsieht, beginnt für mich die eigentliche Geschichte. I am interested in images that do not reveal themselves at first glance. For me, the real story begins only when you look a second time.
Nach über 40 Jahren Portraitfotografie glaube ich: Ausdruck entsteht selten durch Anweisungen. Er entsteht in den Sekunden dazwischen.
