If we lose tomestones entirely in Evercold how will it impact funny little dialogues and scenes like this early Shadowbringers intro to Norvrandt currency? This joke hits so well in the cutscene as WoL (and player) realizes there is No Escape.

My 1st character in FF14, Dark Autumn, a Hellsguard from the East Shroud, extended family separated by Baelsar's Wall. Her immediate family is large & close-knit; she's the only adventurer in the bunch. She's officer in a small free company, aiding the Scions & WoL (my alt Aeryn) as needed.

Aeryn's mother Emelia did all she could to get her kids back to her native Thavnair when her Coerthan husband died. Singing Willow is the Ultimate Mom, taking care of Dark's friends as well as her large family. C'leiha's been lost to early senility for a few years. Iyna's mother is long dead.

Aeryn considers her stepfather Tanzel to be her dad, barely remembering her bio-dad, Corran (a heretic whose actions had later consequences for Aeryn). Dark's father Iron Summer is a caring old farmer. C'oretta's father, gladiator pugilist Khell the Clanless, died in the Calamity when she was 13.

I actually don't have images of any of Dark Autumn's many siblings, but her eldest brother Cold Autumn shows up in a few of her fics. C'oretta has no siblings. Iyna doesn't remember her brother, a warder who died failing to save her & the other children of their village from Garlemald.

Aeryn's older brother Zaine greatly resembles Ardbert which led to Aeryn thinking he was the "real" WoL & she the replacement when he died in the Calamity (not the case as she's the Azem shard). 2 of their 4 stepsiblings more often show up in Aeryn's stories; Rashae & Kai.

They do admit to it in one of their replies. So not everything is with A\I, but they definitely use it to "help" or outright make some of their posts.

This img is done in the Gpose Function in FFXIV with some edits in Photoshop. But some others might be done with the use or help of ai. But this one isn't. Hope this answer helped :)

I was initially shy about it, but not cuz of getting it "wrong" I'm not even sure what that means. More "how do I see these characters, how do I make this go the way I'm envisioning it, is it interesting?" Now I've got hundreds of thousands of words about them.

So I made Dark Autumn 1st. Then I made C'oretta the smollest catgirl & was Not Prepared for how large some things in Eorzea really were, or how tall NPCs I thought short were. So Aeryn is tallest midlander, close to my IRL height, so I could have a sense of the actual scale of the world.

TIL that there's a character named Coretta Kelly in Helldivers 2 (2024) cuz someone asked me if C'oretta Khell was a reference to her. I rolled up my catgirl back in Stormblood (2017) so maybe Ms Kelly is a reference to the pink Punchycat! 😉

Aeryn & Dark do not, tho they have favorites they often wear. C'oretta is a pinks girl. Various shades are prominent in her clothes & I judge hairstyles by how well they show highlights. Iyna often does different greens to match her highlights, eyes, & claws, but also wears complimenting colors.

10+ yrs ago I made a femroe to try out the game as the new HW expac came out. In Nov & Dec 2017 I made a couple alts to replay the story, see other city-state starts, 1 was my fanfic WoL & she refused to behave as initially planned. In Dec 2019 I made a bunny I didn't intend to keep & here we are.

Aeryn is often considered beautiful, tho she doesn't think about it much. Dark knows she's smokin' hot & can & will use that with others. C'oretta is cute & attractive to some for sure. Iyna does get reactions for being pretty & striking, but she doesn't really comprehend it.

Mostly Aeryn & Zaine, prelim tests while writing some backstory. I haven't tried to adjust a mikitten for C'oretta, & despite the prevalence of Viera/Shetona in recent years no kids for them, & forget child Roe models the devs sure have. 😉 I don't cosmetic mod so I suppose I'd have to comm those.

Because they were each made years apart, 3 of my 4 FF14 OCs ended up black-haired. There's probably more among my various TTRPG & original writing characters, & a few among my old WoW alts.

I was a little girl in the 80s & on a trip to my grandparents house, my then-teenage uncle was watching TNG. "Skin of Evil" happened to be the episode. I don't know if it was 1st run or a rerun, but he explained to me what happened, about Data & his reaction in specific, & I was hooked from there.

They shouldn't be. It's grossly overpriced for the cheap materials involved for a cuff that looks too heavy to stay on. SE merch dept is SO BAD at this. Overpriced fashion items & random collabs (camp gear?) instead of learning what fans actually want & catering to that for reasonable prices.

Aeryn's older brother Zaine was the 1.0 WoL. She returned to Eorzea in part to find him, after their mother passed away & she took time to prepare herself. Her chocobo Snowlight used to belong to him & when I read the Legacy Chocobo desc, I wrote a story about her & eventually becoming Aeryn's bird.
