Gundam Hathaway Insanely beautiful in scenery and animation, excellent character design and well-paced! When I first watched it I was pretty lost until the second half of the movie, but I was able to understand it better on this rewatch, worked really well to help me be ready to watch the new one!
Project Hail Mary It was interesting to go from "Why are people going crazy about this?" to "Ah, I see" Much longer of a movie than I expected but it knows how to use writing, lighting and sound to make you laugh, stress you out and convey urgency Fantastic movie, but wish it was a tiny bit shorter.
Miku Expo 2026 The setlist in this one was UNREAL. I wasn't expecting to completely forget about my own physical pains and go ahead and jump and sing out loud with the crowd with every song, from the very personal fav Patchwork Staccato to the more modern God-ish from my favorite producer? Perfect.
Final Fantasy XIV's FanFest My first time going to this one, and what an experience it was! We were very lucky to get to take a picture with our one and only beloved Soken and had a wonderful time meeting old and new friends both— these and the little game spots were my FAVORITE part of the event.
Teekyuu S1 I... huh. Huh??? Yeah. I was very confused for a bit, but then it clicked in my head that I was watching the same brand of humor and brainrot kinda show that I am familiar with from DiGi Charat, and it was a good watch while eating takeout with wife. Needs more tennis, methinks.
Frieren Season 2 The OPs and EDs to this show will never stop amazing me with their gorgeous looks and colors, especially with the endings having just the right traditional artstyle vibe to them. They have more than once moved me to tears.
There's No Freaking Way I'll be Your Lover! Unless... Was expecting to watch a fun show with girls loving girls that my boyfriend liked a lot but I was not at all expecting it to turn into such an important and lovely memory made with my boyfriend and girlfriend for reasons I can't say. Go watch it!
Kiki's Delivery Service (In Theaters) You just know you're in for a treat whenever you watch a Ghibli movie in terms of animations and whimsical nature of them, but I particularly enjoyed the message in it about keeping and nurturing your love for what you're passionate about. Fun and cute!
City: The Animation Rewatched with wife and laughed at the same jokes all over again because it's just like being with some of the most fun friends ever. Couldn't shake off the feeling of "ah, it's over, huh?" once it was because it really leaves you itching to keep having fun with your friends!
Umamusume: Pretty Derby -Beginning of a New Era- (In Theater) The movie that started it all! Even more amazing to watch it on a big screen, still got emotional and teared up you-know-when, gave my wife the Umapyoi Densetsu singalong as a treat since she sings it on the daily (* ´艸`) good times
I went for Digitan on the paid banner instead of Xmas Oguri knowing I wanted to go with my heart instead of The Meta, and today (after some carat calculations) I decided I wanted Dia-chan because I wanted to go for The Yuri since I already got Kitachan and... my brain broke.
The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou I was pretty lost at the start of the movie but as it progressed I got pretty into it and got to enjoy its silliness and sense of humor and adventure, though I kept being distracted by the fact that the Green Goblin was hanging out with the rest of the old men.
Cosmic Princess Kaguya! My heart... was SO not prepared. The animation and art direction was gorgeous, the story had me quickly hooked, the characters were lovely, this guy in it gave me sm gender env-- You gotta watch it and tell me what you think if you do!! This one will stay special in my heart.
Umamusume Pretty Derby - 5th EVENT ARENA TOUR GO BEYOND GAZE This was a really fun one!! It's interesting to see what changed between concerts but most importantly seeing the girls interact not only between each other but with the audience was super delightful!! I love these horse girls so much...
Umamusume Pretty Derby - 6th EVENT The New Frontier (Autumn) Admittedly, hard to top my excitement over having Ogutama on full display the concert before this one so it feels almost unfair to compare. Still! It was fun to watch another one of these. Once again illustrated my favorite part!! 🥕

This ChanMe was emotional for me, I trained for my Tama to be as good as I could, then she couldn't get any wins the first day so I even subbed Creek in one day... then she couldn't win either so I decided to ride with Tama till the end and she started winning and took the win home in the end... 🥹
