The organizer of STP Metalweekend - Tales From The Moshpit festival in ST. Pölten, Austria, prepared festival t-shirts with logo of my band - Sacriversum. We are the headliner of first day of the festival!
I don’t understand why here in Poland estate developers (not the software ones ;)) choose so ugly designs that remind me some kind of blockhouses I saw in NYC. They are ugly, dehumanized and they look like a prison. And this is so called „New Center of Łódź”
I’ve been working on Trombalsky as a side project for over a year. There are still a few small things to implement or polish. Trombalsky is build on idea of account pairs. So one can quickly switch between them. Although Trombalsky can still be used as single service client too.
@mackuba.eu Here it is in Trombalsky :) still some things need to be implemented.
And I am happy with how Trombalsky’s compose window with video uploaded looks and works on macOS. And I may push the build for Test Flight tonight. Anybody on both Mastodon and Bluesky interested in Trombalsky beta testing?
It’s been a long time since I posted video of me plaing the guitar. This time is an absolutely classic - Pink Floyd’s Comfortably Numb solo mixed with a short piece of Tiamat’s Gaia solo. Gaia by Tiamat is kind of Comfortably Numb of metal. PS. This is just yet another test of Trombalsky :)
I am testing new feature in Trombalsky. Posting the post to both networks but truncating everything that is above the limit for a given service. So the same post posted to Bluesky will have text with only 300 letters and the same post posted to Mastodon will have text with max 500 letters.
I love market places. They are real, you can talk to the farmers and you can see these marvels like that guy playing the accordion and singing. They are often embarrassing but from the other side they are real, the salt of the earth.
Yesterday PL national broadcaster provided live transmission of The Cure at Opener Fest in Gdansk. In prime time on TVP 1. I’m not a die hard The Cure fan but I like a few songs. Watching live transmission I felt like in the 90s when TVP did many shows: Fish, Deep Purple, Water’s The Wall in Berlin
They say my home city is named „Boat” (Łódź in Polish) and has no river. Well it is not true. There are many small rivers and among them the biggest is Ner with beautiful reservoir 3 minutes walk from my house.
Playing with new feature in Eter - custom images for stations. I think one of my cats looks best as station image. I am going to replace all of the stations with my cats and dog photos :)
It’s getting cooler and a bit windy and the evening sky is so marvelous.
Last night, our little street. It should be called Moonrise Alley ;)
And with this screenshot of Eter you can have a glimpse of my musical taste. It’s mostly prog rock and metal (while I am metal head and metal musician I grown up to próg rock) with some movie soundtracks (I love movie soundtracks - sometimes Indian like the movie but I love the soundtrack).
Eter 3.2 for iOS, macOS is out. It adds support for YouTube Music & fixes bugs that affected parsing metadata & Shazam. It adds global Shazam switch & new stations have Shazam off by default. Eter 3.2 for tvOS fixes issues with sync https://apps.apple.com/app/eter-stream-internet-radio/id1523221566
42C in the shadow - we have a thermometer on the roofed terrace.
Fall is going to be busy. In the summer I have just one concert to play with gothic metal AION and then in mid September weekend concert tour with Artrosis across Poland and Sacriversum gig at the festival in Sankt Pölten, Austria.
37,7 C outside and 27 C in my office. Too hot for work. I need to evacuate to the dining room in the house where temperature is 25 C. Two years ago we moved from a small condo on the fourth floor just under the roof. It was an oven without air conditioning. It’s better here.
In the era of widespread AI, will we see the Voight-Kampff test?
Today I am off to Poznań for rehearsal with AION band. And next month we play at Ostrow Rock Festival with My Dying Bride, Tiamat, Scardust and many others!
There are still things that need some polish and some features are missing, but I am getting close to start closed beta tests of Trombalsky.
Our every day garden struggle. Story both in PL and EN as images (too long even for Mastodon post). As for the pathologist I mentioned in the text, search for „Poland pathologist garden” :) it’s in the news.
