This weirdo is the papa. It was sold to me as an Anthurium “Gigi” (Nigrolaminum), but as it’s matured, I suspect it may be an accidental cross. The crispy tips are from general neglect and also surviving in ambient humidity over the winter.
This blue-leafed beauty is the mama (Anthurium Blue Velvet). The hole in the leaf is from it boldly unfurling in ambient humidity over the winter lol.
Behold, I have anthurium seeds! The lil green specks are they. (I’m not sure if these are fully developed. The flower dried up, seemingly in mid-development, but there were berries, and the berries had seeds in them. We’ll see if it works.)
Last post for the night: my Philodendron Red Moon just pushed out two gigantic, red flowers. (Also, I LOVE the red and yellow variegation of this plant so much.)

Well this is cool. Jane Schoenbrun’s TEENAGE SEX AND DEATH AT CAMP MIASMA has made it into the Un Certain Regard leg of the Cannes Film Festival.
