BREAKING: The Supreme Court has upheld birthright citizenship in a 6-3 vote, striking down a Trump executive order that would have stripped citizenship from people born in the United States to undocumented immigrants. Gorsuch, Alito and Thomas all wrote separate dissents. More details to come.

BREAKING: Carmella Glenn has been unanimously elected Madison Common Council Vice President. For the first time, Black women occupy both leadership roles on the Council.

HAPPENING NOW: The Board of Health has rejected the proposed contract with CAYA Clinic to operate a harm reduction center on Madison's East Side. This board does not have the authority to restart the request for proposal process, but PHMDC could. Full coverage to come.

BREAKING: We've learned that former Sun Prairie West principal Jennifer Ploeger expects to be criminally charged following an investigation into a former dean of students who faces state and federal charges of child pornography and exploitation. She will address the potential charges at 2 pm.

SEASON ENDS IN HEARTBREAK: Kentucky got out to an 8-2 lead in the fifth and it was too deep a hole for the Badgers to dig out of. They made it close, ultimately losing the set 15-13 and the match 3-2. Kentucky will take on Texas A&M for the title on Sunday.

SUDDEN DEATH: The Badgers fight off three set points and come back to tie it at 24, but can't close it out. Texas takes the fourth and we head to a decisive fifth set with a berth in the national championship match on the line.

ONE SET AWAY: the Badgers take a tight third set, 25-21, and now need just one more to make it to the national championship match against Texas A&M on Sunday.

Kentucky rides a 6-0 run to get to set point, then Wisconsin scores two but can't hold off the third set point, and the Wildcats take the second. We are level at one set apiece, headed to the third with a berth in the national championship match at stake.

Wisconsin's women's volleyball team dominated Kentucky in the first set, taking it 25-12 with no errors and a 100% side-out rate. The winner of this match takes on Texas A&M in the national championship on Sunday.

FINAL FOUR BOUND! The University of Wisconsin women's volleyball team beats top-ranked Texas in four sets to win the Texas regional and advance to the national semifinal. They'll face Kentucky on Thursday.

UPDATE: Texas takes the third set, 25-20, setting up a huge fourth set with Wisconsin leading 2-1 and a berth in the Final Four on the line.

UPDATE: The Badger women's volleyball team never trailed in the second set, taking it 25-21. They now lead 2-0 heading into the third, one set away from a berth in the Final Four.
