"There must be something rotten in the very core of a social system which increases its wealth without diminishing its misery." Karl Marx✩✩✩ Here to remind you there is an alternative. Build class consciousness. No war but class war. ☭ Stand with 🇵🇸 🇱🇧 🇨🇺
Castro was pretty great, actually. 🇨🇺 **Note: 𝘕𝘰𝘵 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘢 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘪𝘨𝘯 𝘪𝘯𝘧𝘭𝘶𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘣𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘶𝘣𝘢𝘯 𝘨𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵.
Every. Damn. Time Capitalism must hide its own contradictions to survive. The easiest way to do that is to accuse the alternative to capitalism of its own systemic inevitabilities. It's an ideological inversion.
Nature is a living, regenerative system, but capitalism extracts resources faster than they can regenerate. Workers are the other “source of wealth,” because labor creates value. Capitalism treats labor as a cost to be minimized. Capitalism cannot help doing this. Its survival depends on it.
Indifference is not "neutral." It is a passive force that helps maintain an unjust status quo. Apathy allows the actions of a powerful minority to become "fate," for which everyone then suffers the consequences. #SocialistSunday
This systemic class conflict is built into the economic structure. It is not a "mistake," or simply, a "moral failing." ... It is intentional.
Capitalism treats both external nature (land, resources, ecosystems) and human nature (physical, mental, creative capacities) merely as inputs to be exploited for profit. Moving forward depends on true worker and community control, not just nationalization under a managerial elite. #SocialistSunday
“Looking at the Earth from afar, you realize it is too small for conflict and just big enough for cooperation.” This Soviet achievement stands as a testament to what humanity can accomplish when united in purpose and driven by collective progress.
Capitalism is not inevitable or natural. Nor is it written in stone. It's the stage of barbarism before humans reach full maturity into Communism. There are forces actively trying to prevent this, for their own self-enrichment at the cost of our immiseration.
"Socialism is the people" We have the collective majority, so we should hold collective power, over the ruling class that seeks to exploit, oppress, and harm us. #SocialistSunday
