I have a small batch of NES lightgun revolvers for sale on my website. It took me a while to source the acrylic lens I needed to really tighten the precision of this gun. The lens of course didn't come with any data sheet so I had to figure out the focal point on my own. =)

Not even the Famicom revolver has this much mechanical detail. I'll look at making a batch sometime if folk are interested. I want to incorporate a potentiometer to fine tune the photodiode so games could be played on LCD sets (though it's not very reliable compared to playing on CRTs.)

Custom NES lightgun with rotating cylinder and hammer action. My aim is off because I'm holding the camera and trying to keep everything in view, but a decent demonstration of the function.
