Not up to listening so I scanned the transcript and got a kick out of her pen and paper jones. I hope to go that way myself. My sister got me an awesome set of Agatha Christie pens. This is the one I use currently for journaling.
My favorite indie bookstore is closing. Why? Fucking capitalism that’s why.
What it all comes down to. Whether it’s school, work, church, government, or a sporting event. If exercising agency goes wrong, the tendency is to think the consequences are deserved. Because you were drunk, or wearing the wrong thing, or didn’t leave, or didn’t fight back.
