So much progress has been made in my 7+ decades. But in the last 15 years it's being beaten back by the far right & Christian nationalists. I block fake 'Gaza accounts' Avoid personal attacks or demeaning posts (unless they are really really funny!) Mai=My
Reuters: possible Russian role in supporting Iran I mean, isn't it obvious. After all, where has Iran been getting all their munitions support from. All this time has Trump been fighting a proxy war with his bro in the Kremlin? And he has no clue. Over to @thestudyofwar.bsky.social please
Er, no he didn't, Chris! Read the headline. Now read the article. Desperate stuff from Chris Mason here BBC News - Starmer ally takes swipe at Burnham's first big policy - BBC News www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
They always lure in the politicians with promises of 'creating' hundreds or even thousands of jobs. Same is happening with AI centres. Of course they are simply empty promises but the politicians give them what they want and then when it's too late discover that it was all a lie.
Hello! Chris Mason taking cues from his mate Farage again?
Reuters: A quiet move to stocks and bonds. Trump and his sons promoted crypto as investors lost billions. His own financial disclosures show a different strategy Wake up people!
"Newsmax" and the McLaughlin brothers(?) are in a make-believe world where they ask unserious even peurile questions and then draw laughable conclusions therefrom.
Inherently bad for the economy? Nos of international students are down. Nos of foreign workers are down. (think £ notes per person). Successive governments have failed to understand that the economy is like steering a ship. Keep pulling a lever and it has long term consequences/overadjustment
But they give space for Farage Despite not having a leg to stand on. Here are the facts as far as I understand them -->
When they're asking questions of themselves like this I think you know the answer?
And they complain that we don't 'allow' free speech in the UK
Successive governments have been in the thrall of big business. Banks (too big to fail)+ Now big AI companies. I understand the desire to attract investment into the UK economy but we have seen that bending over backwards and giving these companies funding/tax breaks doesn't work. +other examples
A Labour MP texting Chris Mason should probably NOT be a Labour MP!?
Ok so is this a euphemism or some hidden meaning that I have missed. Tractor Supply ? #tractorsupply ?
Fake account after fake account trying to extort money from compassionate people on here. They use B_l_a_c_k sky servers to try to get around Bluesky's moderation.
South West Water have said that they welcome the UK Government's White Paper on reform of the water industry. Tells you all you need to know doesn't it. @sascampaigns.bsky.social
But it does have this badly worded headline much lower down regarding Greta Thunberg
Well it's got this important take on the news up in the top ten
I couldn't remember the principle values exactly so I typed 'to inform to ...' and this list came up. Look at the first suggestion!
You will be visited by three spirits The ghost of Christmas past, the ghost of Christmas past and the ghost of Christmas past
Seems that if you mention the N word* @support.bsky.team hides it. Seems a bit unnecessary? Sure some people use the term far too much but effectively censoring it seems a bit over the top? *the National Socialist(sic) German Workers Party, not the other n word!
- 74 children including 58 babies have died in temporary accommodation in the last five years - @antoniabance.bsky.social this is shocking. Where is the data from please?
