I am beckoning the cooler weather with crochet and starting my annual Gilmore Girls rewatch. It is so bloody hot right now. I am SWEATING.

Sorry for anyone who has texted, DM'd, emailed, carrier pigeoned me lately. Life has been lifing, I've been poorly this week and I'm generally shit at getting back to people thanks to my fried spicy brain. 🫠 Don't worry about giving me another prod, nudge or flick.

I've been suffering from a pancreatic flare up the last couple of days which means sleeping, painkillers and liquids only. Anytime I've been awake today I've tried to fix my boredom with this. What a godsend. I've not really been in the mood for any cosy Switch games so The Walking Dead will work.

How did I spend my weekend? Well it was kinda digital free in a way. I tinkered and listened to my minidisc players (the only album I have is Sum41s All Killed No Filler), listened to the radio on my Walkman, played some of The Walking Dead telltale games and took pictures on my camera on my walk. 💜

Peekaboo. What should I play first? (My library is already huge)

I feel better having a Nintendo nod in my XBox game...

Today I will be mostly coffee, snacks and video games. How about you?

I woke up quite a lot throughout the night and the early hours of this morning. Aching muscles still from the gym, the smothering heat and of course Buri wanting breakfast. I didn't expect a visit from Paul McCartney though. He's safely in the garden now. Perhaps a sign to play Kubuto Park?

I know I always go on (at least to myself) about how much I love The Last of Us games but I don't care. Currently playing Chronological Mode and with every playthrough I'm discovering new things. Plus I beat my high score in the aquarium 😝

I love my cat Buri so much but jfc these early wakes are killing me. It's been 5am for the last 2 or so weeks. Last night was 2am with frequent wake ups after. I'm going to need barrels of coffee to get through today. But then again look at that wee face. 🥺 I can't believe he turns 10 this month.

Buri has decided to take my side of the bed. At least I have a cuddle buddy whilst I play more of The Last of Us Part 2 in bed. Either way it's an early night it seems.

I love my short hair, especially as my natural waves and curls can now be free and mad. But if one more person says I have bed hair or I should brush it deserves a smack with said hairbrush because when it's brushed it looks SO MUCH WORSE. Non curly/wavey hair havers just don't get it.
