We still have half of hurricane Lala to get through! And then to add to it, a few earthquakes.
Hurricane prep: gather up lawn furniture and any outdoor items that could blow around. Fill water jugs with drinking water, fill Propane tanks, fill up cars, get generator gas, get some canned food, pet foods, coffee and WINE! Me, farmer-carrying two full propane tanks!

Yesterday, Himself and I tore off old porch boards and replaced them with Trex boards. The climate here destroys wood so fast. I’m sore and exhausted. 🥱 we still rocked it though for both being nearly 70!

From the naysayer comments, there are still far too many in denial of what’s happening in this country. However, it’s giving me some hope seeing how many turned out even in normally red states and cities. Love the world-wide support!
The sun through the volcanic plume as we experience another chapter of the eruption here on Hawaii island. This pic was taken from the entrance to my driveway. We have ashfall and Pele’s hair. Catchment tanks disconnected from gutters so it won’t wash into our water off the roof when it rains.
As a parent and grandparent I find this horrifying and disgusting- how many children’s photos were shared with the vile people associated with Epstein.

Just back from freezing temps in Colorado- home on the east side of Hawai’i island and it is REALLY VOGGY here today. The photo doesn’t do it justice-it’s just hanging in the air.

Well said. As a woman who has been a victim of domestic violence, I could see that his reaction was akin to classic abuser response.
