The courageous mama gave birth. 2 of them didn’t make it, but the third is alive and she’s taking care of him.
We had a very big take in this morning ! It’s 3 boys, 4 girls breastfeeding, a very pregnant girl and 15 babies ! They are all doing well.
Great news ! We welcomed into our personal herd three new girls ❤️ We have now Cleo, Summer and Saturne with us 🥰 Summer has a big mass on her back that will be remove on Wednesday!
With all the bad last weeks, we are taking some days off in Spain with mini-hoom. 🥰 The piggies are in very good hands during this time ! ☀️🐹
I’m starting to believe that we are cursed, or we are doing things bad… M’dame Noisette is gone this morning. Yesterday she was so fine, this morning she was dying. 😞 The vet and us helped her to cross the bridge peacefully. Sleep well and peacefully dear little friend ❤️🌈❤️
The dark days will never stop. 😞 Sid developed a dental abscess yesterday. We immediately go to the emergency vet clinic, but he didn’t make it. 😞 Sleep well Sid, you were a real chief in the park, but a lovely cuddle plushie too. ❤️ You will be so miss. ❤️🌈❤️
You were the silliest, the sweetest piggy we ever met. You came to us when you were one week old, throw away by your owners and we loved you at the first sight. You suffered these last days, you lose so much weight, but you’re in peace again. We’ll miss you so much Gaufrette ❤️🌈
"How lucky i am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard" Gaufrette was helped to cross the bridge this morning. With her, it’s a whole era that’s end. She’s gone meet Pistache, Noisette, Hagrid, Brownie and all her friends on the other side 1/2
Prune grew her angel wings this morning at the clinic. ❤️🌈 The infection was too high and she didn’t make it. We’ll remember her as a strong lady, with a very strong behaviour. She pass through so much things, she deserve to rest now. Sleep well sweet Prune ❤️🌈❤️
Again and again… Prune is not well at all. She has a big mass on the throat and is in hypothermia. We incised the mass but it’s not an abscess. Can’t wait for the vet to open this morning… be strong sweet girl ❤️
Ol’girl Gaufrette isn’t feeling well. She lost some weight and doesn’t show so much appetite 😮💨 She has her tooth trimmed but the vet and us think her hyperthyroidism is going too high.
Some weeks ago we adopted Edwige, a young no-eyed piggy who came to the rescue. ❤️ she grew up so much ! 😍
… we lost another piggy today… I didn’t talk a lot about him, but Kaki loosed a lot of weight and all of his fur in the last weeks. He was diagnosed with a lymphoma. He felt asleep today after lunch. He fought so well, we are sad and proud. Sleep well Kaki, you deserve it. ❤️🌈
Ouissky grow up so good ! He took almost 150g all by himself! For those who don’t know, he’s recovering from a very serious scurvy 🥰
Without her, there would be no piggies here, there would be no rescue here, there would be no Maison des Chons. She inspired our logo and our rescue philosophy. She was the first piggy we presented to our son.
Today we woke ups with the sadness view. Our wonderful Pistache, the Original One, the First of All, is gone tonight. She grew her angel wings to meet back Brownie over the rainbow. She was our very first piggy and she was the sweetest of all the herd,
Our oldest piggy on the rescue, Pippin, grew his angel wings this morning. 🌈🪽 We went to the vet as soon as possible but he crossed the bridge during the journey. Sleep well dear Pippin ❤️🌈❤️
We are hoping these are the last babies ! These three precious were born this morning 🥰
We upgraded the rescue with a second Omlet outdoor park 🥳🥳
Two more ! (Yes it’s an umbilical cord) We are so so lucky that all the mamas are doing well!
