I seldom make pasta salads but this one hit the mark. Seasoned grilled chicken, chopped spinach, lemon zest, parmesan and basil with an evoo dressing with lemon juice, red wine vinegar, garlic and Dijon mustard.
Our lovely Troy is 11 today, and my husband took him on a mountain bike ride. Troy runs, my husband bikes, and both come back happy 💙

Yup, I still eat romaine lettuce because I buy it from a local farmers market, and I have faith and trust in their produce coming from within 100 miles. I chop my lettuce finely sometimes because my husband doesn’t like large lettuce leaves 🫣And yes, I love garlic croutons.

Sorry I’m absent. Swept up in graduation and wedding stuff. Made wedding guest favors today - strawberry and rhubarb jam. More jam making tomorrow.

Trying to mostly ignore the news, and living my life. Gotta say that if you live in California, wait to vote for governor candidate till the democratic front runner emerges, and then support that person. The alternative of two Republican candidates on the ballot is terrifying! Just my two cents!
Got so many great photos from our road trip. Love California, and wouldn’t live in any other state, especially a red one trying to steal your right to vote 😡
#FamilyDinnerMay2026 Thank you, lovely Aja, for gathering us for this fun theme night. Since I’m on a roadtrip I didn’t get to cook tonight but this crispy potato taco I had hit the mark along with the spicy marg. Husband had ahi and shrimp tacos 😊 Was in Daniel’s hood @ngb2020 😊
