How is this still a thing in 2026? Was buying some narrow goods from Seattle Fabrics and had to reset my password.
It's been 4 years but I'm back making bike bags. Small batch of basket and rack bags are live on the site now. More color and options to come soon. Check it out: troutmoose.com
This looks awesome. Still wondering how they are planning on powering it. Pi 5 is very power hungry. Source: www.reddit.com
I'm here again advertising cargo bikes. Such a good way to get around with kids (and on your own). Kid is soaking wet from splash pad? No problem.
Now. I just have to plant my little guys and wait for tasty vegetables to grow.
This has got to be the most bike accessible home depot there is, though.
Speaking of dirt, I went to the big orange store and loaded 4 cubic feet (whatever that means) of dirt into the bake. Just pulled the bike right up to the pallets and loaded it. I estimate 1 or 2 more bags would have been fine
Cherry tomatoes, basil, and kale mix. Who cares if dirt spills out in the bucket?
It is a car-centric world after all. BUT. I'd argue riding my cargo bike makes it a lot more pleasant. If nothing else, it took me 0 seconds to find parking.
The bike parking situation at the farmers market is laughable. They put a measly bike rack on top of the sidewalk. This is as car brain as it gets.
First, a buffered bike lane on a quiet street. Some parts of this street has protected bike lane, not sure why this part doesn't as there is plenty of room.
From the Saturday AM Cargo Bike errand series. Today, we got some vegetable plants for the garden and some dirt. #cargobike
And.... We are home. 19km, 3 stops, two lakes, and I only used one bar of the battery. Which cost me a grand total of "next to nothing" dollars.
There's some of this also. Stopped to take a picture. So, room for improvement but not too bad. Fairly quiet street.
Not everything is awesome though. This is a neighborhood street with a little bit of traffic. Driver in the blue car was being respectful but not all are.
Quick stop at TJ. Bike parking situation is, again, not great. Plenty of bike racks but all in a crammed space. Do better TJ
The bike parking situation at the bike shop is a little weak.
8km of mostly car-free infrastructure to get to my first destination. A bike shop.
