On quite the prolific last few months. These two along with other classics Animal Farm, Homage to Catalonia, Catcher in the Rye. More modern reads have been a couple of Murakami, Tom Cox and Chuck Palahniuk. Musically it’s been Bob Dylan: Chronicles, Kurt’s Journal and the 2nd Brett Anderson biog.
If France do lose this, then at least I’ll stop singing “There’s Tchouameni broken hearts in the world, there’s Tchouameni dreams can be broken in two” to myself and gormlessly sniggering.
This is a decent starting point. Not just tactical explanations but anecdotes and behind-the-scenes insights.
