I don't have any new art, but here's a sketch from 2017 that I'm still proud of. kind of been chasing this high ever since

a pencil sketch of 2 fauns seen from the back in sitting poses. there are implied invisible seats to show their poses more completely.

I'll start. my current favorite rock formation is the Totem Pole, Dolerite Cliffs in Tasmania

some recent quake sketches

I'll give you a sniff at how I'm doing this. once you got these cells, you smush and skrungle them up. do the same operations to the base color and normal map and they'll mostly match up.

a quantized normal map, 16 colors, max contour smoothing

edge detect, some additional cells layered over top to break up large shapes, and then made into flood fill

flood fill to color, sampling the base color. it's got some lighting baked in, but can be PBR compliant if needed

trying for a painterly look in substance designer again. but using quantize color, kuwahara, and multidirectional warping this time

a 3d rounded rock material with a painted look to it. we're looking at the core shadow between 2 light sources to see an extreme example of how the normal map shades

I think the 5-hour energy is working great today.
