Another test fit cause yes. Ears are done which I feared due to ladder stitch work I've never done till now. Things left to do: clean shave pass, felt for brows/around eyes, "flews", teeth, the back of head, and neck. After that, it's onto the body!
Just a fit test but I'm happy with his look so far. Still needs touch ups along with many other things to finish him up. He's getting there though.
Have most of me glued down. Still need maw lining to ladder stitch my jowls and lower jaw down properly. After that it's shave time. Ordered eyes from @spiltgrapesoda.bsky.social. Some trimming and parts still needed but he's actually coming together.
At this point, I'm only pinned down. Nothing glued or shaven. No back of the head yet either. I'm looking up videos on how to tackle that aspect. I want a zipper so he fits right. Yay for bringing myself to life!
So I'm coming together slowly but surely. Nothing shaved or glued yet but happy with the outcome so far. Lots of cutting and sewing left. Hope to have him done for my b-day in June though.

My effort continues. I'm happy with the progress so far. All markings hand sewn for miniscule seams.
And the work continues. I got all the tan for the face cut out and sewn together. Next up will be the rust. Yay for slow progress!

Absolutely digging the color mockup. Now I gotta figure out how to cut it all up for a good pattern.
More work on me. Taped up and testing out my markings. Might change them up a touch but not totally sure. Gonna give it a day to see how I feel. After that, cutting the tape and onto patterning.
So continuing on this project, I added some definition to the ears giving them a more "cropped" look. Also looking at my refs, I made my lower jaw a touch more pronounced. Original base by Cuttleb0ne over on Twitter.
I 3D printed a stand for my boi! It was a downloaded file and had to work on scaling it up along with a few other tweaks to make it work for him. Now I want to learn how to make 3d printable models! Any recommendations? Courses?
