Awkward fledglings gonna awkward. This Cooper’s hawk Bebe has been hanging out in our yard.
Heard ….screech peeping? in the front yard. Looked out and saw this Cooper’s hawk fledgling hanging out.
So I envisioned the five chipmunks all racing out of the carrier at once, and it being the most adorable chaos. It was not that. I present to you, three of them leaving.
Acquired a catch-pole and successfully got them all out! Mama ran into what was likely her borough under a shed, and we released the babies into the hole after her.
Mama and 3 baby stink kitties fell into what might be a dry well at the Wilhelm mausoleum today. It was full of garbage, and she was hiding under a sign about 5-6 feet down. There was another hole in the corner that was much deeper so we were really worried the littles might fall farther down.
