I heard the description about the Great Fox's 80 year loan was in the og Star Fox 64 player's guide. Looked in my copy from 1997 and sure enough. Also they call it a mortgage, implying it's their home. If Fox fails to pay the debt, he goes homeless.

I haven't played the Star Fox demo yet, but I like that they're going for a fully retranslated, rewritten take. When you try to do it 1:1 like 64 3D, people only focus on how it isn't EXACTLY the same, no matter how close. This time it's like they focused on making the dialogue feel natural
The Star Fox demo being Meteo is honestly the best for me, it's the level I play the least of all 😏
At first I was kinda puzzled by the lack of mech/tech elements in Xenoblade Genesis, but the fact that it's some kinda ring/inverted sphere world... is this in a Dyson Sphere? Are they harvesting the 6 stars? Is all the tech on the other side of the world?
