Your least favorite hostile ungulate.
The section I hiked on the #AppalachianTrail this year for my LASH Started in Pawling, NY and hiked NOBO (northbound) to Rutland, VT Distance of roughly 250mi and 42,000ft up in elevation (about the same-ish down) Started on the 27-June and ended 13-July with 1 Zero day (no hiking, rest)
I made it to Rutland VT, and thus this year's hike on the #AppalachianTrail has now come to a close. Thanks for being a part of my hike for the past 17 days, 250 miles and 42,000ft of elevation gain since Pawling NY. (Little Rock Pond, VT)
Cooled my hooves off in a wild forest river. The water was clear and ice cold #AppalachianTrail
Atop Bromley Mt in Vermont. Ski lodge open in the summer for #AppalachianTrail hikers. Gorgeous 360° views (And some where down there is a moose!)
I did make it though! Wearing only t shirt and shorts (no rain gear) and freezing, but it's done
This is what hooves look like after hiking over Massachusetts' tallest mountain in pouring rain and ankle-to-shin deep water for 10 miles. No way to stay dry. Trail was a river. Just gotta plunge your shoe in and embrace the suck
Took the night at Upper Goose Pond cabin. Now back to assaulting the mosquito infested bogs of Massachusetts #AppalachianTrail
I have been saying this for years. Liberals and tenderqueers are fair-weather friends that get nervous when you get angry and promote direct action.
