Every day is a painting day. Well, not quite. Many days are also composing days, but me composing at my computer desk doesn’t provide the matter for very compelling photos, where as photos from my studio are full of colour and movement. See what I mean?
63 today. These birthdays seem to come around at an alarmingly frequent rate. Only four years to go before I’m an old aged pensioner. Financial security at last! Imagine that.
Showing spatialisation for my timecode-supported polytemporal piece, ‘a point in the landscape’ with the BBCSSO 2024. More in my forthcoming book, ‘Timecode-Supported Polytemporal Music: What It Is and How To Write It’ published by Vision Edition and available from @composersed.bsky.social
‘nearly all my poems are letters to you’, a solo harp piece, is published on @composersedition composersedition.com/marc-yeats-n... I’m hoping it will draw intrepid harpists to its intricacies and colours. DM me if you'd like further information @composersed.bsky.social to view the score online.
