Comparison (animated GIF) of July 17 and July 19 (today) Copernicus Sentinel satellite images of the #Elektrostal warehouses near Moscow, before and after Ukrianian drone attacks. Combination of natural Colour channels and SWIR to bring out the fire localities.

Same part of the sky, imaged by me in 2014 (SSON 60-cm telescope), and last night (MISO TU Delft 40-cm telescope) Green and red marked objects are (the same) stars, as reference. What do you note about the yellow marked object? Can you guess what it is?
The International Space Station (#ISS) imaged in the prime focus of our Delft University of Technology Aerospace Faculty 40.2 cm MISO telescope (using a QHY 268M) last night (10-11 July 2026). Focus can still be improved, but otherwise I am happy with this, as several components are recognizable.
I sleep under a 'klamboe' (mosquito net) so I can keep the window open without being bugged by mosquitoes

Etna on Sicily eruption yesterday 5 July, in a Copernicus Sentinel 2B satellite image. I combined the visual and SWIr channels to bring out the hotspot.

4/x Exclusion zones from Navigational Warning HYDROPAC 1741/26 (blue) and the trajectory of the SWIFT Space Observatory (yellow). Times in UTC (June 27). Matches well. LINK is a reboost mission for SWIFT, and will be airlaunched with a Pegasus XL rocket.

4/x Asteroid (585349) Eeuwes was discovered as object "SaLa024" on 25 October 2012 by @sarneczky and me using the 0.6-meter Schmidt telescope of Piszkéstetö Observatory (MPC 461) in Hungary. The asteroid is an estimated 1.5 km in diameter

6/x So this is how it will transpire I believe: initial launch into 30 deg inclination, then just before MECO a change into ~27.1 degree inclination. In case of RUD before MECO, debris will rain down in area B of NAVAREA IV 464 #Starship
3/x A ~30 degree inclined orbit fits the Navigational Warnings for the launch area, but does not fit well with the orientation of the reentry area. Suggests possible inclination correction near ascending node.
2/x The reentry area in the Indian Ocean is slightly different as well:
