A politician has died. Sudden. Unexpected. Snatched by Death. So on this Holy Day (for some) how about thinking about the absolute brevity of OUR physical existence & just how expectantly it can END. Regardless of what you planned, scheduled or thought you were doing tomorrow. Make this day count.

Well...my friend's senior dog decided my 'gift' loaf of homemade Whole Wheat bread was worth stealing it off the countertop (while we were out having lunch elsewhere) and munching away on it.....
Plump buds. Overnight blooming. A quick goodbye, wilting, in daylight. Nightshades are just what the name implies. You either see them full bloomed under the moon/starlight or in their fading glory.....as they wilt and fade in early daylight.
