Still just thinking about how much I fuck with Deltarune chapter 4 on a thematic level. So much of it is exactly the kind of shit I love to see in stories.

The vague and incomplete prophecy that has Ralsei so petrified and scared to even show her friends a glimpse of, Susie stumbling onto the final piece and smashing it before you even catch up with her, Gerson trying his best to lead the next generation down the correct path from beyond the grave, Susie growing into her own and learning to be gentler without losing her edge, fighting the primordial embodiment of the Fear of the Dark and defeating it by jumping directly inside it’s heart-
Fuck
This game actually just has the sauce and I’m terrified to see chapters 6 and 7.

Ralsei wanting the blue and pink drink, in the same cutscene where Flowery calls her princess while they’re away from the others?
AND Flowery later claiming she’s jealous of the Flowers for not having to “pretend to be something they’re not”?
Sure that 2nd bit is also just referring to the whole Lightner/Darkner dilemma but stuff can mean multiple things!

Did I post about this? I think I meant to and then forgot. I finished my replay of Endwalker on Cynthia! Having played them back to back now… I’m honestly not sure if I like Shadowbringers or Endwalker more.

Mine'd be these four. Rella is just 'cause she's cute and Witch of the Black Forest I just think is neat. Aussa though was the special alt-art card I got in my first structure deck, so she's special to me. Nefarious both supports Aussa AND has a funny name, so I love him.

SAO to me is a series of extremely interesting worlds and ideas that just didn't have a writer who could pull out its full potential.

It’s massive spoilers, but this is a thought I had during my most recent playthrough of .hack//G.U.

.hack//G.U.’s plot escalating from “interpersonal conflicts between MMO players spiced up with a computer virus that corrupts and amplifies the emotions of any player who comes into contact with it and can put them into comas” to “we have accidentally unleashed an eldritch abomination onto the internet that will cause such a massive strain on the network that every single nuclear power plant in the world (which have their systems heavily integrated onto the net) to go into meltdown, thus effectively wiping out humanity if we don’t kill this god like entity with our special MMO characters” is one of the funniest ways I’ve seen a JRPG contrive a “we need to kill God” scenario

RWBY volume 10 finally came out, but it was a Marvel crossover where they had to evacuate the remaining citizens of Remnant onto a pirate ship captained by Wolverine before Remnant was destroyed by the Hulk.

It’s really funny how despite all the speculation on it, the closest thing to Rena’s hatchet in SHf ended up being the saw that they used to cut off Hinako’s arm during the Fox rituals. I saw that thing and audibly said “That’s where they put it?!”
