Misogyny, racism, discrimination, gratuitous violence and more found undercover in the Met police force. Too much to write about here. Watch it - 1hr that will alter the way you view some police officers. It's unsettling because you still have to call them when in need even with these known facts.

Is it too much to ask for #CleanAir in #HealthCare ? Had my annual health check in unventilated room again. Bad air quality even with the earliest possible appointment. Usual struggle to get health practitioner to don a mask 😷. Why does this keep happening with so many airborne viruses around?

#Orchids A variety of Orchids that have blossomed in this new year, and make me smile every morning.

A splash of rainbow colours (from red to blue) appear in an overcast sky between a break in the clouds. Where the rest of the rainbow is is a mystery. I later learnt that this phenomenon is called 'sundog' or or 'parhelion' - never too old to learn something new 😉. #Liverpool #Sundog #Parhelion

Bob Marley - an adaptation from the image on the cover of the Kaya album (1978) showing Bob Marley looking forward, and slightly to the left. In this acrylic painting on canvas board, he is wearing a green and white tracksuit top and smiling. His locks are shoulder length, indicating that he was around 32 years of age. The original monochrome source image, by Kate Simon, was taken in 1976.

Abstract art on a square canvas (23.5"²/ 50cm²)- the main background colour is red that merges into orange and yellow with a motion of movement from bottom left to upper right represented by highlighted flecks of varying shades of yellow, blue, green, red, and purple colours. The centre of the canvas has a background of deep purple changing to red, yellow, blue and green as it merges with the adjacent yellow, orange and red colours. Bottom left of the canvas bears my initials: MHM.

Abstract art on a square canvas (23.5"²/ 50cm²)- the main pattern is a swirl from the outer edges of the canvas to the centre. The colours interact amd merge with the dominant visible hues being ultramarine blue, sky blue, titanium white, cadmium yellow, hooker green, leaf green. A hint of the burnt umber background is visible in each of the four corners under receding layers of the aforementioned colours. Bottom left of the canvas bears my initials: MHM.

Get Milie Black C4 From the first sentence I was hooked. Based on a short story by Marlon James this series has me salivating already and the richness and depth of the story, and I'm only halfway through the first episode. James' guiding hand as an executive director is evident.
