This is gingerbread, a 2-yr-old gentle affectionate girl pit bull. She had a bad childhood stuck in a little space that caused scars from sores, but she is all better! She is available for adoption or fostering in Michigan, DM me or contact Michigan Humane Society!

Just returned from a weekend up north at the cabin, the sky is so clear at night if you stand & stare long enough, you start to see the sort of spiral arm going across the sky. There were so many deer, they were coming right up on the deck & still had their winter coats. Lots of great birds too.

Our sweet baby had surgery to remove cataracts several months ago, & a risk of the surgery is glaucoma. Unfortunately, glaucoma developed in her right eye, so it had to be removed this week. Surgery went great, & she’s already recovering well.
