In CA a speeding ticket w/ no other violations on the driver's record for a speed less than 20 over the limit (non-reckless) costs more than $500 after fine & court fees. If I were to receive such a speeding citation I would challenge the fine/court costs as a violation of the 8th Amendment!

Consider this in regards to SCOTUS' decision yesterday on fed #regulators: The FAA regulates how airliners are made/maintained/repaired. Will Trump permit a manufacturer to cut corners? And if that causes a crash will Trump allow the guilty party to be named by the NTSB?
