I'm finally playing Skyward Sword, and I'm losing it at Fi's singing animation. She sounds like Hatsune Miku but looks like she should sound like George Corpsegrinder.
I have a lot of nitpicks with it, and I would probably prefer to play the original over it, but I had a very good time running through Halo Campaign Evolved with @bigdaddymaruu69.bsky.social
Credits rolled on Splatoon Raiders. Even before going onto the post game I'm very happy with it. Great time. The final boss is probably my favourite in the series, and I really hope some of these horrible fish make it to Splatoon 4's Salmon Run. Hope the full soundtrack is on Nintendo Music soon.
Replaying TOTK. Obviously a lot of the magic and wonder is less than on the first run, but still having a cracking time. Also, finding the Master Sword completely on accident remains one of my favourite moments in a game ever.
I was thinking about Bloodborne and remembered how cool it is that there's just zero information at all about this guy. No name (Bloody Crow of Cainhurst was coined by the fandom), no lore beyond the clothing origins, and no explanation for why he's one of the hardest fights in the game. Peak enemy.
I'm playing Link's Awakening for the first time. To what I imagine is no surprise to literally everyone else who has played it: Oh. Now, this is lovely!

Did 4 hours of Marathon's survival mode yesterday and that time just flew by. Very low stakes, but also low tension. Knowing that there are OTHER gangs of loot goblins running around is half the thrill of the other modes, but this is a nice cool down mode. Just look out for rooks. And also THE BOX.

Finished book 2 of Kill 6 Billion Demons and remain enthralled. Also giddy how nearly every single background character looks like a main character. Even the jobbers in the massive fights look awesome. However every time 6 Juggernaut Star Scours The Universe isn't on the page I miss them terribly 😔

FINALLY reading Kill 6 Billion Demons, been putting it off for years. Bought books 1-3. Always meant to check it out, just for the sick name. When I picked up the Lancer rulebook and saw Tom Bloom's dope art I was informed he was the creator of the former. Anyway. So far? Dope as hell.
Every other team dead, down to such low ammo I'm resorting to using the Lookout indoors, this one Rook nearly wiped us twice until we finally got em. They are a menace and must be stopped!

Replaying Armored Core 6 (deleted my old platinum, 100%, All S Ranks save too), delighted that the game is just as peak as I remember, and am once again whooping and cheering at the existence of the rich and deep character "Dude who speaks exclusively in Haiku while he beats your ass"
