The CEI Hub is a monstrosity like the Mt Hood Freeway. In the 1940s, the City Council brought Robert Moses, a New York City urban planner to Portland. Moses and the Chamber of Commerce championed the idea of the Mount Hood Freeway, 8 lanes from John’s Landing to I-205.
