I did it. 6 years of waiting to swim safely outdoors unmasked and with no other swimmers in sight… I figured out the pool is empty during lunch hours. My energy was good enough today. The swim was glorious. 🥹🏊‍♀️ p.s. The thyroid med adjustments I rabidly pushed for is obviously better for me.

I started using a moist heat eye compress for 10 minutes each night for only 5 days and I was able to wear my contacts for most of yesterday instead of 2 hours. 🥹 I think I could do very well after 4-6 weeks! I guess my TED gave me severe MGD, but I landed on a cost-effective, OTC treatment.

I found a 3-in-1 brand of men's shampoo/conditioner/body wash that works on my hair. As in, I don't need to use extra conditioner. They got it right! So I can take shorter showers with my low energy. 🥹 p.s. Rot in hell, gender marketing. p.p.s. Suave, don't discontinue this like the lavender deo.

I’ve childproofed my sweatshirt’s kangaroo pocket. I now have a supposedly “fireproof” stovetop cover. And I’m never making the mistake of resting anything over the burners ever again. #RIPKettle 🔥🙅‍♀️

Back when I got my head bitten off for pinpointing exactly what was wrong with my department and organization, the "lead" of my office literally sneered, "Welcome to State [Gov't]." She was so wrong. I thought of it immediately, but this is what she reminded me of. It helps me laugh harder now. 😂

I would’ve screamed too. After a big go of it, I now make it a point to label all new chargers as I get them. I was sick of electronics having issues when I mixed up their exact match (infuriatingly, yes, it matters sometimes 😖).

I was in a foul mood and struggling hard as I trekked to yet another medical appointment this morning, but this made me stop and laugh. This was pretty high up too! My city’s electrical poles and stuff has been decorated with many anti-ICE and know-your-rights stickers and flyers as well. 🥹
