The dumpsters were emptied today, so Mama bear and her cubs had to go elsewhere for breakfast.

At a restaurant in Asheville today and saw a Mama bear and two cubs on the dumpsters. I warned the staff but they say it happens all the time and they have work to do.
I was cleaning up my Dad's yard and thought of Felicia Kahn as this Tradescantia pallida came from a cutting she gave me out of her front yard. I grew some in New Orleans before transplanting it to Foley for my mom to enjoy before her passing.

Winter science is fun! I went outside with a bubble wand to make bubbles and to see them freeze. It was well under the 12° required but the wind kept blowing my bubbles away. I finally sat in my car and was able to catch the phenomenon before my hands got too cold I had to go inside.
