I mean, it was exhausting. But I got my first blackberries of the year today (before the birds did) and I feel pretty good about it. I hope your day was as tasty!
My cat's latest trick is to frantically finish the food dispensed by the automatic feeder before I see him in the morning, then plaintively wail "MAMA I AM LE STARVING" for half an hour before his late morning portion drops. It's manipulation at its finest.
Man you gotta love those adorable questions that little kids ask you, like "Why do frogs hop?" and "Why is the sky beige?"
This guy in my yard had the right idea. When in doubt, sploot.
My greatgrandmother & grandmother grew gardenias. When my parents moved, my mother transplanted some cuttings from those plants to their yard. As my parents are now moving, I've been trying to transplant. This guy had died back to stems... Then I got some leaves. Today I got a bloom. I cried. 🌱
Feels like it's a little warm for a fuzzy jacket, but you gotta bee who you gotta bee. 🌱
It's about time. I keep asking for this at town meeting so I'm excited that we've made progress. 🤘😈🤘
August Friedrich Schenck's aptly titled "Anguish". Saw this in Melbourne and actually cried standing there. It is so profoundly heart wrenching.
Once a year, he gets the only part of the S'more he likes - the gooey toasted marshmallow. But then we have to wash.
My first month in Mass my friend showed me a video of Kelley Sq. The first time I drove through it I thought I was going to throw up - my hands were shaking. It was one of the most terrifying driving experiences I've ever had (and I've done a UK double rotary). That said - this shirt is AMAZING.
Agreed. I'm lucky to have both the space and just enough time to let the black raspberries do their thing. To be fair, they take almost no maintenance and spread pretty quickly. I finally just gave up fighting them and made jam!
Grown in the backyard in a small raised bed. I won't get huge numbers at a time, and only for a few weeks a year. But they are amazing.
Share a movie soundtrack you love (that isn't 'The Crow' because, duh, we all love that one)
First daisy of the season, and some monarch snackos. #bloomscrolling
If you see this, post with something you saved because it was funny.
It's the most wonderful tiiiiiiime of the year** **Until the tomatoes ripen. And the strawberries. And raspberries. And blackberries.
Fantastic time at Stoneham Pride today. Community organizations were fantastic and the speakers were moving and thoughtful. I even got to help some girl scouts with their silver projects!
I love mine. It's basically like the most functional Lego set ever.
The wind is gusting at 50mph and has already brought down my milkweed and some flowers. At least they're pretty.
Chris said "It's where EDM, metal, and a boy band intersect". He's not wrong. #ElectricCallboy
