Mason Center for Climate Change Communication (Mason 4C)
@mason4c
George Mason’s Center for Climate Change Communication (Mason 4C) transforms the way people talk about climate change. We study audiences and foster trusted messengers to increase public action toward climate solutions.
The Spring 2026 Climate Change in the American Mind Politics and Policy report, conducted with @yaleclimatecomm.bsky.social is out now! In it, we found that despite ongoing cuts, large, bipartisan majorities of registered voters oppose policies to eliminate climate research and public information.

@jeffgoodell.bsky.social will be one of many talented authors speaking at George Mason University's annual Fall for the Book event. His New York Times Best Seller is an illuminating and earnest look at how rising temperatures will affect our lives, health, and the planet.
We are excited to announce the appointment of Dr. John Kotcher as the interim director of Mason4C. Dr. Kotcher succeeds Dr. Ed Maibach, the Center’s founding director and Distinguished University Professor Emeritus, who is retiring after 18 years of visionary leadership. @maibached.bsky.social
