How dreary to be somebody! How public like a frog.
Recently watched this with his friend John Cassavetes. It stuck with me for some reason. Lot's of duplicity and paranoia. Streaming for free somewhere
lol, sounds just like Tom Cruise: you lose your wife, you lose your family, you're on your third marriage, your career fizzles out ... so end up being an action star, now you're having plastic surgery trying to retain that brand ... you're not really an actor, you're just repeating yourself
Of all the Kevin Bacon, Kyra Sedgwick films, this one has stuck with me most. His part had to have been a challenge It's from the same producer as Monsters Ball and touches on similar themes of society, punishment, and forgiveness
I never heard of this experiment, wild with dramatic results and hope for us all.
Doesn't Susan Rice have roots in Maine. Could we conscript her now for Maine Senator?
Trump humiliates supporters by killing deal he touted as his 'best': Ex-GOP operative
This is such an important victory for decency and humanity. Thank you NY10. Keep doing good things Rep Lander
I wonder if there are enough samples of his current handwriting to see signs of cognitive decline. It's part of the mini mental status exam for a reason. His signature sure looks more cramped to me.
I assume the deal still needs to be approved. Now where's that rubber stamp?
Welp, every company in the US does this and usually with security or cop at their side. It's been the way since the early 90's when people started going on killing sprees at work Not gonna say he's stuck in the 70's, suspect it's more that he is overwrought. And it is cruel the way people are fired
Misogyny and repression of women is so endemic in most of the world that it goes unreckognized and for much longer than "10, 15 years ago". I gather she means that people haven't given voice to it so blatantly, yet it's foundational to the culture of three major religions and the US Constitution
I'm not the one on Team Pete. Seems his model of answering questions in a straight forward and civil manner hasn't rubbed off. Way to educate and advocate for your guy
I think we tend to forget about the long list of people who fought back before the door hit them in @ss. They've left Congress, news orgs, law firms, universities, ... many are podcasting, on substack, ... or quietly collecting sea shells on the beach, ... hopefully at the ready for a fight
Thinking of this from Jimmy Carter's Nobel Laureate Address www.nobelprize.org/prizes/peace...
Mine is in the works. They just charged me for the necessary birth certificates, so I assume that means they found them. Je suis québecois
So about 1,150,000 Republicans voted in the Texas primary. How many can we expect to vote in the general vs how many sane people?
