If you’ll indulge me, I’d like to tell you a true story. About half an hour from where I live, there’s an elderly man who has a plastic dog in his front garden. Every single day he puts out a hand-painted sign with a different dog’s name. Toto. Scooby. Tramp. Every day it’s something different.

Even though I’ve been reading and collecting comics for over 30 years I have no idea who or what Jeff the Land Shark is….but it looks safe, so I bought Little Legs her first proper comic ☺️

There was just something about this going up that still to this day I love. Plus the combination of King Pin & the Riddler as the BIG question was just genius. Plus McDaniel’s art was fabulous…as always.

Never seen…12 angry men, changing that tonight. Researching self contained stories for a thing I’m writing…but I’ve said too much.
Most people think Comic Con is just about “making money”, but it’s about making connections with people… creators, customers, curious bystanders. Real human interactions. Just chatting, connecting, and maybe the occasional photo where I look like a dope. That’s what comics is about.
