Calgary has had a wet June, and it has led to absolutely stunning wildflowers. If you aren't seeking out our undeveloped green spaces, what are you even doing? #yyc
Specifically the section immediately west of 29th St. Which is fantastic because the worst part of the detour was going through that weird but cool little cobblestone park!
Looks like we might be getting the Parkdale #yycbike pathway back! I am surprised, I was led to believe it was going to be closed until fall or later! interesting that they're using hydrovac trucks to empty the sandbags

The absolute painful irony that I had to drive to work today (well out of town) but I also had to park and walk down to one of my favorite bike commutes to take photos for a client. Please help me get more work IN the city

Calgary is the kind of place where they half build infrastructure, and when people continue to use it, they add more closed signs. Meanwhile instead of a perfectly serviceable, If narrow and unconnected sidewalk, you're forced to #yycbike down 4 switchbacks and across a busy freight railway.
