Britain First are now asking their followers on social media to vote on where their next march should be in September: Coventry or Leicester. Given how brazen they are, I don't think it's too hard to predict which one they'll choose in the hope of things getting wildly out of hand.
The @pressgazette.co.uk sums it up here. I can see a real panic developing, where training courses & degrees are going to chase creator models of work too quickly to try and make up the knowledge shortfall. And it'll backfire, especially where there's a staff skills gap. End result? Boom and bust.

Robert Del Naja of Massive Attack was arrested during Saturday’s protest in Trafalgar Square, where police arrested 523 people over support for #Palestine Action. The protest, organised by Defend Our Juries, comes as the legal battle over the group's proscribed status continues through the courts.

I'm really proud of the MA Broadcast #Journalism students this term. I’ve pushed them hard on video production as well as storytelling, so seeing the @citylondonnews.bsky.social account hit 1m views in term 2, despite only being active two days a week, is a real achievement.

12 months ago I warned against relying on subscription-based video tools for #journalism. Now Adobe Rush is on the way out, just as I predicted. Content creation platforms shift fast. Your skills need to be transferable & you need to be adaptable. Also, and much more importantly... I told you so.
