Our third PTKU #CharitibundiBowl donation is in honor of the undefeated 1984 CWRU team, quarterbacked by Fred DiSanto, who lettered in 3 sports all 4 years. The team was not invited to the NCAA Division III playoffs, despite beating qualifier Washington & Jefferson 34-16 on the road in October.
My second PTKU #CharitibundiBowl donation is in honor of the CWRU victory over CMU in Oct 74 22-15 resulting in the headline of the Observer of “Spartans Slice Mellon”. newspapers.case.edu?a=d&d=OBS197... CWRU beat CMU only 2x in the 70s, and went winless after this game for almost two years.
