Amateur wordsmith and blogger - mostly science fiction or slightly scary stories. Cat slave. Take pictures of local wildlife when they are kind enough to pose for me. Follow backs neither required nor guaranteed.
Today ended on a sad note as my 15-year-old cat had to be euthanized. The vet had detected a mass in her lungs that did not respond to antibiotics. (For those unfamiliar with house cats, the average life span is 10-14 years. At 15, she was positively ancient.)
Hear me out. What if Sanford was motivated to attack the Mormon church because a Mormon shot Charlie Kirk. Crazy, I know.
Post a pic you took with no description to bring some Zen to the timeline. This picture was taken 18 Feb 2018 and is my current computer lock screen.
I haven't seen these deer in a while. I thought they were alone until something scared them off. The whole herd of about a dozen was taking advantage of the freshly revealed ground after it rained today.
Me, back in happier times, probably wearing patent leather shoes because it was the 1960s.
This is the first one that I've seen this year. There video on my YouTube channel (The Mauve Rose) if you need proof of life.
It's THROWBACK THURSDAY, Bluetopia. Here's a photo of a photo of me sitting on a couch sometime in the 1970s. I was smiling because my boyfriend was taking the picture.
Do I? I don't know, but I do spend a lot of time wondering why people follow me. There is no theme to my life, no consistency to my posting, and a life story that reads like a poorly written soap opera. I'm fine with not meeting you, because it means you'll never meet me.
I don't know where these religious freaks are getting this from. There is nothing in "The Revelation of Saint Paul" about it. Lots of predictions about the fall of the Roman Empire and the rise of Christianity, but not one damn word about people vanishing and leaving their clothes behind.
What’s your “no one remembers but me” game? Rats! (1994), not to be confused with Rats! (1998) aka Reservoir Rat, was a game where your mission was to exterminate the rats in a maze before they took over the place. The sound effects, to put it mildly, were a bit risqué.
