Man shot by federal agents has died, police chief says

The man shot by federal agents this morning has died, Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara told the Minnesota Star Tribune.

Several witnesses have already been transported to the Whipple building. ICE attempted to order local police from the scene, but O'Hara refused, sources said.

O'Hara instructed his officers to preserve the scene. The BCA was enroute to the scene.

All available MPD officers have been called into work, except dogwatch (overnight shift), and days off cancelled.

Edmond Man Arrested for Internet Crimes Against Children

Edmond, OK On October 24, 2025, detectives with the Edmond Police Department's Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit arrested 51-year-old Pratul Agarwal at his home in Oklahoma City.

Investigators received information indicating that Agarwal had been soliciting minors online for lewd photographs and attempting to arrange in-person meetings.

Agarwal was arrested and will be booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center on the following charges:

1 count of Soliciting Sexual Conduct with a Minor

1 Count of Violation of the Computer Crimes Act

2 counts of Lewd Acts with Child under 16.

The investigation remains ongoing as Edmond detectives work to identify any additional potential victims. Anyone who believes they may have been victimized by Agarwal is urged to contact Detective Sergeant Jason Kushmaul at 405-359-4639.
