Today in "Sigh, OK, now I have to deal with this I guess": Exploding rolling curtains. Thing just decided it didn't like it's life any more and crumbles away when you pick it up. About 4 years old. Both windows failed on same day. Five other windows in other room with same model, just fine.
For those using @esphome.io, the latest update has massive quality-of-life improvements! The overview is better, running batch jobs like fw upgrades happen in de background now and the new edit UI is simply amazing.

They did reply, they tried to make it better but no dice. Was a subscriber for nearly 5 years, paying them nearly $300 for hosting 50mb of data. Open source tooling has caught up and surpassed them. Rethink your strategy (hint hint, look at cloudflare, free for consumer, lead to more big business)
