In my shower today. It looks like an Indian Meal Moth (Plodia interpunctella) according to info from internet. A tiny little moth.
My first Dragon Fly photo. Kinda cheating it had to come inside to me, but it's a start. I could look at the wings all day.
My Thursday #HumansOfBluesky submission. A candid shot of a friend of my daughters. Evident she was happy to see her.
A camping spot above the Colorado River. I love this stretch of the river and try to hit this spot when we travel into Utah. Sadly, just a bit upstream, the Synder Fire is burning near the Colorado-Utah border. Gladly, 49% contained now and evacuation orders are lifted.
Happy camping Blue Sky. Our car/festival camping got a bit out of hand, but produced many fond memories!
OK. Sorry, but who can resist looking at their finger prints. I happen to have a double spiral on this index finger because I almost cut this finger tip off as a 4 year old... doing something they had just told me not to do.
This tree is a trip. Love the contrast. It also has some small groups of bright green leaves.
Visited the wild animal sanctuary in central Colorado. Interesting arrangements for the facility to cope with abused or bad confinements associated with privately owned animals. I have mix feelings but it seems to definitely fill a nitch that these animal need… at least I hope that is true.
Our 1 1/2 year old Hollie. Very affectionate, but a rough and tumble pup. I love her face... she gets away with a lot! #DogsOfBluesky
Great shot and great name. Reminds me of my wife's Hooker's Orchid Cactus. Another night bloomer with a great name.
A flock of these guys came thru the trees near my house like machines. It was amazing. I think this is a crossbill. I didn’t get a good look at the beak like your great photo.
I need to train this bumble to look into the lens! That must be how these guys get the great shots.
Couldn’t resist taking closeup of the fairy I posted. As many things in life, too much detail can often ruin our illusions. But a pretty little “blue Flower” none the less. #flowers
