I still like to draw with a dip pen and currently my bottle of ink (kaimei lettering sol) is drying out due to this winter heat wave in southern california. And yep, Trump tariffs have increased the price of this ink and made it more hard to find so I’m using a sharpie instead to fill in the black…
Laid out a couple pages for the next issue and immediately made a mistake (photo taken on the side where there was no mistake)…
One little single solitary strand of grey cat fur getting in the way of my dip pen is all it takes to draw my dear Chu-hi as Kimba the White Lion (my favorite cartoon as a little kid).
